We are looking forward to another year of spiritual learning, fellowship, and fun. This website will contain all important information regarding the confirmation program at TVKCC. Your teachers are:
- Anthony Toledo, Pre-Confirmation (8th grade)
- Andrew Lee, Confirmation (9th grade+)
NOVEMBER 1-3, 2024 (register here; send payment to @drulee on venmo)
- This retreat is REQUIRED for all Confirmation students (pre-confirmation and confirmation)
- Retreat Location: Redwood Glen Camp & Conference Center
(100 Wright Dr, Loma Mar CA 94021; map) - Who: 8th-12th grade students from TVKCC. Confirmation students are required to attend. TVKCC teens who are not enrolled in Sunday School are welcome to attend.
- What: Kids will be staying in cabins at the beautiful camp center. 2 priests and many adult staff will create a wonderful program that will be fun, spiritual, and educational.
- Transportation: We will need parent drivers (drivers will receive a discount, see below). Andrew Lee (TVKCC Teacher) can fit approximately ~8 students in his large van.
- Cost (send payment to @drulee on venmo)
- $250 before Sep 22 (REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE!)
- $275 between Sep 23 – Oct 13
- $300 on or after Oct 14
- If a parent can drive 3 or more students (including your own) to the retreat reduce your fee by $40 each way (ex: if you can drive both ways, and you register before Sep 22, your cost will be $250 – $40 – $40 = $170)
- Cost covers cabins, staff, meals, program & activities, t-shirt
- If you need financial assistance, please contact Andrew Lee. We have limited scholarship funds to provide for families in need.
- Departure: Friday, November 1, ~5:00 pm (from SES Church)
- Return: Sunday, Nov 3, ~1 pm (SES church)
